The best genres

• Fantasy with a heist or a thief
• Second chance romance
• Space mystery, especially a locked room mystery where the locked room is a spaceship or an abandoned planet

The worst genres

• Climate fiction, especially anything with drought
• Men's fiction, where the protagonist is married but hates his life and spins out 3 pages of fantasy after interacting with a teenage cashier at the coffee shop on the way to his deadend job
• Witch romance (I don't understand why I can't get into this but I never can)
